Monk’s is a brand of Akellas, the confectionery company which launched balsamic candies in 1954, combining the tradition of the old recipe with high-quality selected ingredients, the experience of skilled professionals and state-of-the-art technology.
Akellas has always been involved in the development of balsamic candies able to soothe cough and sore throats.
In addition to Monk's traditional balsamic candies, Akellas developed a series of other products to complete their offer, including sugar-free candies, the Farfallina courtesy products, fruit candies, gelée candies and the functional line.
